Living Tomorrow: house of the future

  • Its a dream house where the technology assist your daily chores.
  • Somehow that video showed a terrible touch screen technology. Very slow and unfriendly. But I believed with the touch screen technology which Apple introduced in their iPhones and iPads, I am sure the control can be much easier.
  • Will this be your dream house, guys?

Microsoft's Future Vision in HD ; Windows Home Concept

  • Although this video is being said to be from the year 2004, its amazing to see all of these are available now.
  • Apple's Airplay can stream images, audios and videos across the rooms. Apple's SmartCover can turn the iPad 2 into a "Fridge Magnet" and become everyday's companion in the kitchen. But that's Apple who has been the first to revolutionize the use of Tablet PCs.
  • But we also have seen many Tablet PCs from various OSes such as Blackberry, Windows and Android too.
  • Our home is not going to be the same now...

The new MobileMe Calendar includes calendar sharing, invitations, and a new Calendar web application. To maintain calendar syncing between your devices and to continue accessing your calendar at me.com, you must upgrade to the new Calendar by May 5, 2011. Please follow these instructions to complete the upgrade:

iOS 4.2.1 or later

Mac
Mac OS X v10.6.6 Snow Leopard
Mac OS X v10.5 Leopard (requires manual setup)

PC
MobileMe Control Panel version 1.6.5

2) Sign in to www.me.com/calendar and follow the dialog that appears or click “Upgrade now” in the sidebar.

For more information on the new MobileMe Calendar and this transition, please read this FAQ. If you need help upgrading, go to the MobileMe Support page. [HOW-TO] - Fixed iPhone Stuck on Apple Logo

Sometimes when jailbreaking an iPhone or after installing a jailbreak app, your iPhone will getstuck on reboot, or will hang on the Apple logo. This problem happened to me before and it was kind of a nightmare. In order to get your iPhone back on track, you will have to put it in DFU mode (Device Firmware Update mode). This will help you restore your iPhone without loading the OS first.

Putting you iPhone into DFU mode should be used as a last resort if your iPhone is either stuck on the Apple logo or keeps rebooting.

1. Connect your iPhone to iTunes.

2. Hold the Home button and the Power button at the same time for 10 seconds.

3. After exactly 10 seconds, release the Power button but keep holding the Home button for 10 seconds or until iTunes pops up a message saying that it has detected an iPhone in recovery mode. At this point, click OK, then click “Restore” in iTunes.

Note that it often takes several attempts to get your iPhone in DFU mode.
